Meet Sage Hawk's Board of Directors!

  1. Connor L. Gilchrist
    While serving as the foundation’s President, Connor has also attended the University of Maryland’s University College for a degree in Graphic Communications and Digital Web Technology. Having maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.9, Connor has been listed on the Dean’s List for ten consecutive semesters and is a member of the prestigious Alpha Sigma Lambda Tau Chapter Honor Society. He is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He also attended Rotary Youth Leadership activities in 2013. He spent early childhood in Europe while his father served in the U.S. Army. Connor has volunteered in the reconstruction efforts of a medical center in Pierre Payen, Haiti as part of his church’s ministry. Immediately upon graduating high school in 2011, he gained exposure to the fields of Marketing and Digital Animation during four-years of employment in a Hagerstown, Maryland telecommunications company.
  2. James A. Mills
    Jim is a retired U.S. Army and Marine Corps veteran. In addition to his duties as the Sage Hawk Foundation’s Vice President, his life has been marked by dedication and service – first for his country, then for his community. Jim has been a member of the Hagerstown, Maryland Rotary Club, the local Fort Ritchie Community Center, a senior officer of the Hagerstown Elks Club, and in 2018 he will be leading the lodge as Exalted Ruler. As Exalted Ruler, he will work coordinating club membership, Americanism projects, entertainment, community grants, supporting veterans, children and seniors. His relentless work for “Toys for Tots” has collected over $34,000 and 43,000 toys for 3800 children which has been a labor of love and joy for him. He has also served in the Washington County Leadership Class of ‘27 in 2014, ushering in the next generation of leaders.
  3. Sandy L. Mills
    Sandy’s life has been one of selfless giving and indefatigable service. Her professional experience as Administrative Assistant at Vika, Inc. a civil engineering company located in Germantown, Maryland makes her a vital asset to the Sage Hawk Foundation in the position of Board Secretary. In addition to her full-time duties at Vika, she has also volunteered for 5 years as an Assistant Coordinator for the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” program. Her duties there include year-long event coordination, managing toy donations, and completing registration for families who need help during the Christmas season. She is the mother of two grown children and a grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter. Sandy is also a member of the Hagerstown Elks Lodge #378 and volunteers her time there supporting lodge activities.
  4. Tara L. Price
    Tara’s primary job is Employee Development Specialist for the Human Resources Department of the Osage Nation which is located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. As a member of the Board of Directors Marketing arena, she brings a multitude of critical strengths to Sage Hawk. Tara has grown up in Osage County and attended nearby Rogers State University and Connors Junior Colleges. Her sincere desire to help others become successful in life is what attracted her to the Osage Human Resources Department, and subsequently to the Sage Hawk Foundation. Tara recently started a local program to help others strengthen their computer skills. By taking the initiative, she reached out to and began working with the Osage Nation’s Information Technology Department to organize a basic computer class for employees. Tara’s enthusiasm and love of helping others makes her a welcome and invaluable asset to the Sage Hawk Foundation.
